One of the most notable threads running through everything we do at Providence Bible Fellowship is the conviction that the Bible is sufficient to guide us in all matters pertaining to life and godliness. This conviction can be seen in every part of our worship gatherings, Sundays at 10:45am.
In our music, we feature songs that are doctrinally-sound, biblically-true, and focused on our Triune God. We are intentional in our desire to turn people’s hearts to God and His Word through worship in song. We believe it is important for the next generation to share in the heritage of the classic hymns of the church, which are so rich in biblical content. We sing hymns in nearly every gathering, while also introducing some of today’s best worship music from Sovereign Grace Music, Keith & Kristyn Getty, and Indelible Grace.
The central component of our worship gatherings at Providence is the expository preaching of God’s Word. Every Sunday, a passage of Scripture is read, explained, and applied to everyday life for the edification of the saints. We believe strongly that all Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). Therefore, the Word of God is the focus of all the teaching and preaching.
